Dog-Friendly Hotel in Bradford-on-Avon

Nestled in the enchanting countryside of Wiltshire and merely a stone's throw from the historical splendours of Bath, Widbrook Grange stands as a haven for dog lovers and their cherished companions. Celebrated as one of the best dog-friendly hotels near Bath, we're dedicated to ensuring every part of your stay enhances the special bond between you and your pet. We're dog lovers, too; we have two resident pups, Ginny the Australian Labradoodle (follow her on Instagram @ginnywidbrookgrange) and Pippa the Cockapoo!

Holiday with your hound

Your four-legged friend is part of the family – that's why we are a dog-friendly hotel. Many – but not quite all – of our bedrooms welcome dog-friendly breaks. Up to two well-behaved pups are welcome to stay with you in the following bedrooms, all with direct access to the gardens:

Junior Suite.
Family Rooms.
Classic Double (selected rooms).

We're one of the most dog-friendly hotels in the pack. We've won numerous Best in Show awards from pet-friendly aficionados such as The Good Hotel Guide, PetsPyjamas and Sawday's, and have been commended in The Times.

Our B&BS (Bed & Breakfast Sausage) rate is £20.00 per pup, per night (two maximum). Your dog will receive:

A friendly welcome.
Comfy doggy bed for use during their stay.
A Hound Bag tote filled with useful accessories for your stay, including a tennis ball, poo bags, dog treats and a walking map featuring routes local to the hotel.
A breakfast sausage each morning.

Please bring bowls, a doggy towel, food and lead.

Pre-booking

Dog-friendly bedrooms must be pre-booked. Please call us to request a dog-friendly room when you make your booking to help us ensure all our guests are comfortable. Unfortunately, if you arrive having packed a pup without booking, we may not be able to accommodate you. Please note that our Cosy and Super Deluxe bedrooms cannot accommodate dogs.

Staying at The Farmhouse

Our Doggy Charter helps keep everybody's tail wagging.

Please have a read before you stay:

Your four-legged friend is welcome in all areas of the hotel, apart from The Kitchen restaurant.
If you would like to dine with your pup, meals can be enjoyed in the dog-friendly conservatory.
The Farmhouse has 11 acres of beautiful gardens – all our dog-friendly bedrooms have direct access to these.
There's a doggy wash station in the grounds.
Our team is armed with doggy treats – they'll always ask before they dish these out.
All pups receive a warm sausage at breakfast, which they can enjoy in the conservatory.

Important: please consider the comfort of other humans and their hounds, keeping your pup on a lead where necessary and being sure to calm them if they become a bit excited. We understand – we're excited too! But it's always good to be considerate. Please also clean up after your pup.
